
Kapil is the founder of Projekt ROBIN. He is a rising second year medical student at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC. Currently, he has an interest in psychiatry.
He earned two degrees from the University of Maryland College Park: a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in psychology and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in biological sciences with a specialization in neurobiology & physiology. He also has a minor in Spanish Language, Business and Cultures. Kapil also has a Master of Science (M.S.) in pharmacology from Georgetown University and a Master of Science (M.S.) in biotechnology from John’s Hopkins University. In between his two graduate degrees, Kapil also earned a graduate certificate in medical physiology from University of Florida.
Kapil has previously volunteered with organizations such as the Rape Abuse Incest National Network (RAINN), the Crisis Text Line (CTL), The Trevor Project, Learn To Be, and UPChieve. Kapil has also presented research posters at national conferences such as the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) and Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT).
Currently, Kapil serves on the executive board for the DC Teen Promise Project and for the Howard University College of Medicine Student Council.
When not chugging cups of iced coffee or napping, Kapil can be found playing Pokemon GO or other games on his Nintendo Switch.
