Make one small step, and it will help you gain momentum

Anywhere outside, even on your own porch or patio.

How do you handle stress or upsetting situations?

Breathe, count to 10, before you do anything. Try to take an inventory of your thoughts and emotions before taking action.

What is your favorite quote for getting through hard times?

What hobbies or activities lift your mood when you’re feeling down or upset?

Taking care of my plants, pruning and watering them so they’re happy and healthy. Or taking the time to really slow down and just enjoy a hot cup of tea.

If someone came to you for advice on overcoming a difficult situation, what would you say?

Take a moment for yourself, step out of the situation and try to think what you need. Sometimes that’s rest, time alone, talking it out with someone, or to tackle the problem one piece at a time.

Are there any specific places or types of places that help you feel better?

Outdoors. I tend to try to go on a walk or even just sit outside and that helps even me out.

How do you handle stress or upsetting situations?

I find that focusing on a task, even a small one, can help me feel accomplished and distract me from any overwhelming emotions at the time.

What is your favorite quote for getting through hard times?

One step at a time.

What hobbies or activities lift your mood when you’re feeling down or upset?

Visiting a coffeeshop or cafe to get some focused work or writing done, taking a nap when I don’t have anywhere I need to be later, catching up on voice or video call with a friend, making my living space neater/more organized than it was before

Figure out the things that are hard to reverse/repair and take more time to approach the challenge carefully.

Coffeeshop/cafe, nice library, museums, and forests.

How do you handle stress or upsetting situations?

If you’re starting to spiral, cold water on your face/body or going outside can help to reset
